About Wellness Movement

Move. Grow. Thrive.

We’re here to help you move with ease, grow stronger over time, and build habits that last. Because wellness isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress, balance, and finding joy in the journey.

Why Wellness Movement Exists

I founded Wellness Movement to challenge a fitness culture that is too often rigid and impersonal. I believe you deserve a wellness journey that is as unique as you are—one that is built on real support, meaningful education, and progress defined by you.

My expertise is grounded in degrees in Kinesiology and Recreation, complemented by over eight years of professional coaching and over six years of teaching the craft of fitness coaching to others.

I grew up being bullied for my weight. My own journey has involved struggles with body dysmorphia, disordered eating, and unhealthy exercise habits. I’ve lived through the cycles of self-criticism and the slow process of rebuilding. I know, not just academically but personally, how deeply our relationship with our bodies affects how we show up in the world.

Those combined experiences forged my mission: to help you accept, appreciate, and connect with your body through movement. I’m here to use my expertise to create a plan that fits your life, not to force you to fit a plan.

Wherever you are on your journey, I'm here to support you. Let’s take the first step together.

Our Philosophy

At the heart of Wellness Movement, we live by these principles:

Fitness, recreation, and leisure are mechanisms for self care, self improvement, and to developing meaning and purpose in one's life.

Movement should be sustainable, not stressful. Small steps lead to lasting change.

Education matters. You deserve to understand the “why” behind every decision.

Support should be accessible, personalized, and judgment-free, always.

Every program blends strength training, mobility and flexibility work, restorative movement, wellness education, and habit-building strategies, all tailored to you.

Meet Your Coach

I’m Evan Nolan, MS, CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist)

Coach, life-long wellness, movement, and recreation advocate, and the person behind Wellness Movement. I know firsthand how overwhelming and daunting the fitness world can feel, which is why I’m here to make it more accessible, more supportive, and tailored to you.

With experience in personal training, group fitness, strength and conditioning, and campus recreation personal training program management, I created Wellness Movement to make personalized, supportive coaching more accessible.

I coach because I love helping people discover and grow their relationship with movement and self-care. It's incredibly rewarding to support someone as they learn, grow, and transform through our work together. My goal is simple—no matter how much time we spend together, I want you to walk away with a deeper understanding of your body, your strengths, and your potential.

When I’m not coaching or making content, you’ll find me exploring my own movement journey, listening to music, PC gaming, or spending time with my partner Sarah and our dog Odin.
